Fanfares and Flourishes is a vibrant, uplifting programme that brings together powerful choral works and dazzling brass to explore themes of celebration, reverence, and exaltation.

From the thunderous majesty of John Rutter’s Gloria and Walton’s Coronation Te Deum, to the bold, stirring calls of Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Joan Tower’s Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, this concert pays tribute to moments of glory, heroism, and reflection. The programme also features James Macmillan’s Tu es Petrus, Gerald Finzi’s God is Gone Up, Francis Poulenc’s radiant Gloria and Giovanni Gabrieli’s Canzon Primi Toni A8 and Sonata Piano E Forte, creating a richly textured evening of musical brilliance.
